INOC Meeting 2016

Rethinking OD and Coaching …join the Dialogue!

This year's INOC symposion was very inspiring and we got enthusiastic responses from the participants. One feedback was especially charming: "Although there is still a majority of German participants the atmosphere is becoming really international."

Some of the Highlights have been the wonderful Skype sessions with Gervase Bushe and Ed Schein that provided vivid and moving encounters between them and our participants. The presentations of Anandan Geethan (Chennai, India) on „Inner- and Inter- departmental work“ and Peter Hawkins (Bath, UK) on “Tomorrow’s World – and Today’s Challenge” provided inspirations at the frontiers of development in the organizational field.

INOC Dialogues

In preparation of the 2016 meeting, we captured a series of INOC Dialogues on video. Bernd Schmid travelled to Vancouver, Canada as well as to San Mateo and Palo Alto, in California, USA. There, he met pioneers and practitioners of the international OD community, among them

  • Gervase Bushe, Professor of Leadership and Organization Development at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University
  • Edgar Schein, Sloan Fellows Professor of Management, MIT Sloan School of Management
  • Yambome Gilpin-Jackson, independent practioner near Vancouver, Canada and teacher of Leadership and Organization Development
  • Fanita English, Gestalt and TA therapist and teacher, psychoanalyst
